Date night

Not only was last weekend a special weekend because it was Jacob's birthday, it was also the 6th anniversary of our engagement. Jacob proposed to me at his parent's house because that is where I told him I loved him for the first time! So, to celebrate that (and free babysitting) we went out to a nice dinner at the Barker Tavern in a nearby town. This is the same place that Jacob's sister and brother-in-law had their wedding reception! It was very cozy and homey, a perfect atmosphere to sit down with a bottle of wine, cup of clam chowder, local seafood and reflect on the past 6 years and the future together as well. And, we were back in time to catch the end of the Red Sox game! Go Red Sox:)
