Tea time
Yesterday we celebrated Cate's 5th birthday with a whimsical tea party with her friends. We made barrettes and compacts to put them in. We had "tea" (pink lemonade) in mismatched tea cups, butterfly sandwiches, fruit skewers and flowers made of cheese puffs, raisins and sugar snap peas! Of course, there was also a teapot cake and games. The kids had a blast playing "Pin the top on the Teapot," having sugar cube races, building sugar cube towers, playing hopscotch, and "Set the Table, Please." It was a super fun celebration!
